Dr. Dima Faour-Klingbeil ist eine akademische Forscherin, die sich auf die mikrobiologische Sicherheit von Frischwaren, die Übertragung von Krankheitserregern in Lebensmitteln, Lebensmittelsicherheitssysteme und Verhaltenswissenschaften in der Lebensmittelsicherheit spezialisiert hat. Sie war wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der University of Plymouth und Teamleiterin im Seminar Für Ländliche Entwicklung der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Dima verfügt über mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte Erfahrung im privaten und öffentlichen Sektor, einschließlich gemeinnütziger Organisationen, in Management- und Führungspositionen in verschiedenen Lebensmittelindustrien sowie als internationale Beraterin für Lebensmittelsicherheit und Prüferin für die Einhaltung von Vorschriften in verschiedenen Lebensmittelkategorien. Sie hat in der Lebensmittel- und Gesundheitsbranche in einem herausfordernden, schnelllebigen Umfeld Betriebsabläufe und Mitarbeiter geleitet und dabei u. a. Geschäftswachstum geschaffen und aufrechterhalten, Produkte entwickelt, Managementsysteme für Lebensmittelsicherheit und -qualität entwickelt und verwaltet, Schulungen zu Gesundheit, Sicherheit und Lebensmittelsicherheit durchgeführt und Teams gecoacht.
Auf der Grundlage ihres wissenschaftlichen und technischen Fachwissens in den Bereichen Lebensmittelsicherheit und Regulierung, das sie in der Forschung und in ihrer beruflichen Tätigkeit erworben hat, gründete sie 2017 DFK for Safe Food Environment in Deutschland, wo sie sich mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Kindern niedergelassen hat. Derzeit ist sie Geschäftsführerin ihres eigenen Unternehmens und fungiert als Beraterin, leitende Trainerin und wissenschaftliche Beraterin. Außerdem ist sie Compliance-Auditorin für eines der weltweit führenden glutenfreien Zertifizierungsprogramme, die Gluten-Free Certification Organization, die die Lebensmittelindustrie in Europa, Großbritannien und dem Nahen Osten in einer Vielzahl von Produktkategorien abdeckt. Dima ist mit den EU- und FSMA-Vorschriften sowie mit Qualitäts- und Lebensmittelsicherheitssystemen (BRC-Lebensmittelstandard, ISO9001, ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP, GLOBALG.A.P) bestens vertraut. Sie hat mehr als 300 Fachleute für Lebensmittelsicherheit als PCQI geschult und zertifiziert und mehrere Lebensmittelindustrien in FSMA-Fragen beraten.
In jüngster Zeit leitete sie ein Forschungsteam an der Humboldt-Universität, dem Zentrum für ländliche Entwicklung, und konzipierte die Forschung für ein internationales Entwicklungsprojekt zur Lebensmittelsicherheit in Tunesien. Davor entwickelte sie als Beraterin für das ESCWA der Vereinten Nationen einen operativen Rahmen und einen regionalen Mechanismus zur Lebensmittelsicherheit für die Einrichtung des arabischen Zertifizierungssystems für nachhaltige und gute landwirtschaftliche Praktiken (GAP). Diese Arbeit bildete den Grundstein und die Grundlagen für die Interessengruppen in Jordanien und Libanon für die GAP-Governance-Struktur und deren Umsetzung.
Dima war Mitglied der FAO/WHO Joint Expert Meetings on Microbiological Risk Assessment (JEMRA) (Experts Roster 2019-2022). Sie ist eine qualifizierte Ausbilderin für den Kurs Präventivkontrollen für Lebensmittel der Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), eine registrierte BRC-Beraterin und leitende Auditorin und früher eine IFST-registrierte Mentorin für professionelle Audits in einer Vielzahl von Lebensmittelkategorien. Sie war Mitglied des Membership Assessor Panel des Institute of Food Science and Technology und ist Mitglied der International Association of Food Protection, des Institute of Food Science and Technology und der Food Regulatory Group des IFST.
Dima ist Erstautorin mehrerer wissenschaftlicher Artikel, die in angesehenen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht wurden, und geladene Rednerin auf verschiedenen internationalen und UN-Tagungen (FAO, UN ESCWA, OIC, WHO). Sie promovierte an der University of Plymouth, School of Biological and Marines Sciences, über die Sicherheit von Frischprodukten vom Erzeuger bis zum Verbraucher, wobei sie verhaltensbasierte und mikrobiologische Methoden zur Bewertung von Risikofaktoren und zur Untersuchung von Lösungen für die Lebensmittelsicherheit einsetzte. Sie hat einen BSc. und MSc. in klinischer Ernährung und Diätetik und ein Diplom in Marketing und Werbung von der American University of Beirut.
Dima completed her assignment successfully and timely providing an informative report and participated actively in enriching discussions during a related Expert Group Meeting. She is among the best consultants we have had the privilege to work with in recent years.

I like Dima´s checking in on the participants during the course to really make sure that they follow and grasp the concepts discussed. Lots of practical examples are given and make it easier to translate the often "dry matter"

I do recommend this course for QA peoples with general kowledge in HACCP. Not having a certified HACCP (according to IFS or others) isn't a handicap. I have joined this online training and presentation has been well prepared and clearly communicated. Also assessments in groups has been well organized
It was a nice insight into FDA requirements and regulations as well as good communicated by Dima. She is clearly a professional on this topic and can answer questions very well while also mentioning examples that are easy to understand. The challenge of doing this class online was mastered and presented in an interactive way to the given circumstances.
